Right to Information Cell (RTI)

The RTI cell of the College functions to coordinate all the work relating to the implementation of RTI Act, 2005. The roles and responsibilities of the RTI cell are as follows:

• Serve as the nodal point for receiving RTI applications and appeals physically as well as online and forward it to the concerned PIOs/Appellate Authority within the Department or to other public authority if the matter does not concern this department.
• Coordinate matters relating to Odisha State Information Commission (OSIC) in terms of hearing, orders and other matters related to the College/Department of Higher Education,Govt. of Odisha.
• Coordinate and prepare proactive disclosure documents of the College and subsequent hosting of the information in the College website.
• Coordinate all the work relating to the preparation of information sought and released to be submitted to SIC as per RTI Act, 2005.
• Recommendation for appointment of new PIOs/Appellate Authorities, compiling the list of PIOs/Appellate Authorities at regular intervals and circulating the same within the College.
• Any other work related to the RTI Act, 2005

Any citizen, who desires to obtain information under the RTI Act, 2005 may apply to the Public Information Officer of the College on a requisite RTI application form giving particulars of information being sought for along with his/her address, telephone, no, etc. for communication by the Public Information Officer/Public Authority.
